Third Training Module for Technology Audits

Description of the activity

The aim of this training module is to selected KT professionals on the methodology for offering a Technology Audits (TA) Service. Due to the strong relevance of this training for Business Associations and in particular the industry as future beneficiaries of the Technology Audits, the Business Link Advisors identified in act. 2.1. will participate in the training in order to acquire knowledge for future promotion of the services among enterprises.

Main topics of the training

• Instruments and processes for the implementation of TA, Information systems, Data collection, Processes Analysis, Studying and Evaluating Controls, Testing and Evaluating Controls, Reporting;
• Identification of best-practice models for the organization and conduct of TA;
• Drafting of a practical document (Handbook) as a guide for the practical implementation of Technology Audits including concrete work schemes will be initiated, its finalisation will be continued after the training in mutual cooperation between the project partners.

Results of the training

At least 32 staff from the PC institutions will increase their knowledge in Technology Audits, expertise that should serve later for providing this service in the framework of activity 4.2 and 4.3 Through the production of a handbook the PC institutions will have a tool which will provide guidance and advice for the practical implementation of the TA service in subsequent activities (4.2, 4.3).
