New Practical Guide to EU-Funding Opportunities for Research and Innovation
This new edition of the Guide to EU-Funding opportunities includes a full up-to-date picture of the three sources of funding described in the initial Guide (7th Research Framework Programme, Competitiveness and Innovation Framework Programme and Structural Funds) completed by information on the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development and on the European Fisheries Fund.
The Flash Eurobarometer survey comes shortly ahead of the EU Sustainable Energy for All Summit in Brussels on the 16th April, which will bring together the EU, UN and developing countries with industry, civil society and the private sector.
The Mediterranean Diet for Sustainable Regional Developement - 2012 Edition of Mediterra
The new CIHEAM’s Report takes the mobilising potential of the Mediterranean Diet as a basis and proposes a multidimensional itinerary involving sociodemographics, health, ecology, enterprise, geo-economics and citizens’initiative. Mediterra 2012, in which 49 international experts have participated, has been prepared in partnership with the European Institute of the Mediterranean (IEMed) and the Mediterranean Diet Foundation (FDM).

ShERACA EU-Egypt BILAT Project
The overall objective of “ShERACA” (an Arabic word meaning “Partnership”) is to enhance the participation and involvement of Egyptian R&D stakeholders and key players in the various ERA activities. Such an objective will be carried out in synergy with the regional and bilateral actions currently running; namely the MIRA and the RDI Programme.

ENID and CWTS Leiden organise from 2010 onwards the STI Indicators Conference Series: the aim of the conference series is to provide a forum for discussion an advances in STI indicators around the notion of positioning indicators and focusing on new emerging areas, as well as on the development of advanced methdologies for STI indicators. Besides scholarly presentations, the conference series aims also to promote networking and cooperation between researchers, international organisations and users of STI indicators, to contributing also their relevance for policy making.
