Activities

 

The MEDINNOALL project aims to attain its objective and expected outcomes by implementing the following main activities:

 

  • Mediterranean Alliance on Knowledge Transfer and Innovation:
    • Revision of best-practices, exchange of experiences, analysis of partner universities needs in the strategic implementation of the Knowledge Transfer structures and Technology Audits schemes, including a one-week-study visit to Alicante.
    • Development and publication of two strategic guides for the promotion of an innovation culture within enterprises and universities.
    • National network conferences and innovation fora organized by partner country universities to advertise the objectives, results and services of the project and ensure greater visibility and continuous political and business support to the MEDINNOALL network.
  • Cadre of Knowledge Transfer professionals:
    • Identification the staff for the management and administration of the planned Knowledge Transfer offices within the North-African partner universities
    • Identification of business representatives of the involved Business Associations to act as contact points for the universities in form of Business Link Advisors
    • Four targeted training modules on innovation, knowledge transfer, university-industry cooperation and technology audits, with a training of the trainers approach.
    • Practical training of Knowledge Transfer professionals from partner country universities in EU universities.
  • Excellence Centres in Knowledge Transfer:
    • Purchase and instalment of infrastructure of the centres
    • Development of the centres´ webpages and set-up of data bases containing information about universities´ research capacities and contact lists of enterprises
  • Technology and Innovation Audits:
    • Creation of technology maps
    • Implementation of assisted Innovation Diagnosis/Audits among enterprises
    • Development of Innovation Support Plans
  • Innovation Culture Promotion and Dissemination:
    • Series of regular information seminars targeting universities students and academics in each Partner Country University.
    • Regular regional information and innovation events for enterprises and local businesses
    • Final conference: Promoting the Mediterranean Innovation Alliance
